Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to purchases made through the online store macolline.no. These terms apply between Ma Colline Boutique AS and private individuals who use our online store. A purchase is considered an agreement. The agreement is binding for both parties once the buyer has submitted an order to the seller. However, the agreement is not binding if there have been typographical or typing errors in the offer from the seller in the order or payment solution.

Payment

All prices in the online store are stated in NOK including VAT for deliveries within Norway.

If you are under the age of 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to place an order with us.

We use Shopify Payments as our payment platform and offer payment with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Vipps/MobilePay, Klarna and PayPal. Customers can easily choose between card payment, Vipps, or invoice payment through Klarna, and also have the option to pay in instalments after the purchase.

All payments are processed through secure payment solutions. We use 3D Secure, a security standard developed by Visa and Mastercard for online payments. Transactions are processed using secure SSL encryption, which means that no unauthorized party can access your card information when it is transmitted from the online store to the payment provider.

By using Klarna at checkout, we may transfer your personal information in the form of contact and order details to Klarna when the checkout page is loaded, in order for Klarna to process your purchase. Your transferred personal data is handled in accordance with Klarna’s own privacy policy.

Currency

Prices in the online store are automatically displayed in the local currency based on the customer's market.

Ma Colline currently offers the following currencies:

Denmark – DKK
Sweden – SEK
United Kingdom – GBP
Belgium, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Spain and Switzerland – EUR

The final price will be shown in the selected currency at checkout before the purchase is completed.

Delivery

You have two delivery options in our online store:

Parcel to pickup point via Posten/Bring

When you shop with us, your order can be delivered with free shipping within Norway. Parcels are sent with tracking to your nearest pickup location. You will receive an SMS notification when the shipment has arrived at the pickup point. It is the customer's responsibility to provide the correct phone number when placing the order. The parcel must be collected within the pickup deadline.

In-store pickup

You may also pick up your order free of charge in our store at Schultz Gate 19 in Oslo. You will receive an email and SMS with a pickup code when your order is ready. Please note that you cannot collect your order until you have received confirmation that it is ready.

Only the person who placed the order can collect the parcel, and valid identification must be presented.

International shipping

We also ship to selected European countries. International shipping costs 350 NOK.

Prices in the online store include Norwegian VAT for deliveries within Norway. For orders shipped abroad, Norwegian VAT is deducted at checkout. Local taxes, VAT or customs duties may be added when importing the order into the destination country. These charges are calculated by local authorities and must be paid by the customer.

Delivery time

Delivery time is normally 1–5 business days after the parcel has been dispatched. During periods of high demand, holidays such as Christmas and Easter, or during the summer holiday period, delivery times may be slightly longer. If delivery times are extended, this will be communicated by email when possible.

If you have not received your parcel within 12 days, it is the customer's responsibility to contact us. After one month, the order will be considered delivered.

Some products are made to order and may have longer delivery times. We will contact you with an estimated delivery date if the item is not in stock and needs to be ordered.

If you fail to collect your parcel from the pickup point and it is returned to us, you will be charged a fee of 250 NOK.

For in-store pickup, orders that are not collected within 4 months will revert to the ownership of Ma Colline Boutique AS.

It is the customer’s responsibility to provide the correct email address and phone number when placing an order. Please note that emails may end up in the spam folder, so it is advisable to check your spam or junk mail.

Transport damage

Unfortunately, damage during transport can occasionally occur.
If your item has been damaged during transport, this must be reported immediately and the following must be done:

  1. Document the damage with photos, including both the packaging and the damaged item.
  2. Send an email to post@macolline.no with the photos, a description of the damage and the order number.
  3. Keep the shipment, including the original packaging, intact until the matter has been clarified.

 

Right of withdrawal, returns, exchanges and complaints

Right of withdrawal

As a customer, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days after receiving the item in accordance with Norwegian consumer legislation. For orders collected in store, the withdrawal period begins 7 working days after the order is registered and you have been notified that the parcel is ready for pickup. The right of withdrawal applies even if the items are on sale. A return form and information about the right of withdrawal are included with all orders and must be used. The item must be returned in the same condition as when you received it. This means the item must be unused, with tags attached, and free from odors or stains.

Items must be returned in their original packaging where possible. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Ma Colline Boutique AS is not responsible for damage that may occur during return shipping, so please ensure that the items are properly packaged.

Return procedure

  1. Fill out the return form that was included with your order.
  2. Place the return form together with the item(s) you wish to return in the packaging received from macolline.no.
  3. Deliver the return parcel to your nearest shipping service point.
  4. You will receive an email confirmation once your return has been processed. Please note that processing returns may take up to 14 days.

If the conditions for the right of withdrawal are met, we will refund the amount as soon as the return has been processed. The refund will normally appear in your account within 3–5 business days, depending on your bank. During holiday periods such as Christmas, Easter and the summer holiday period, it may take up to two weeks.

Items that are custom-made or produced according to the customer’s specifications cannot be returned. This includes cushions, curtain sewing, seat cushions, wall textiles and decorative pillows made to order.

Certain sale items or display models may also be excluded from the right of return. This will be clearly stated at the time of purchase.

Complaints

If there is a defect in the product you have received, you normally have the right to make a complaint within two years after receiving the item. This requires that you notify us within a reasonable time and provide a receipt and/or order number confirming that the item was purchased from us.

The right to complain does not apply if the product has been used excessively or washed or treated incorrectly.

To submit a complaint, please send an email to post@macolline.no so that we can provide you with a complaint form. Please attach clear photos of the product in your email. We will initially attempt to replace the item with a new one. If the item is sold out, we will refund the purchase price.

Shipping damage

Unfortunately, goods may occasionally be damaged during transport.
If the item has been damaged during transport, this must be reported immediately and the following steps must be taken:

  1. Document the damage with photos, including both the packaging and the damaged item.
  2. Send an email to post@macolline.no with the photo documentation, a description of the damage, and the order number.
  3. Keep the shipment, including the original packaging, intact until the matter has been clarified.

Refunds for returns and complaints

When we receive your return, you will receive an email confirmation. If you return the entire purchase, you will receive a refund of the value of the items within 14 days after we receive the return.

For card payments or Vipps, the refund will be transferred back to the card used for the purchase. It normally takes 3–10 days for the refund to appear in your account.

If you used Klarna invoice and return all or part of your order, the invoice will be updated once your return has been processed. If the invoice due date has passed before the return is received, Klarna must be contacted to avoid reminder fees. This can also be managed through the Klarna app. If the invoice has already been paid, Klarna will refund the amount.

Purchases in store and via social media

For purchases made in our physical store or through direct orders via social media, email or telephone (for example through Instagram DM), the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply.

Products may be exchanged or returned for store credit provided the item is unused and in its original condition. Requests for exchanges must be made within 3 days of the purchase date.

Refunds are not offered for such purchases.

General information

We reserve the right for the following:

  • Items may be sold out
  • Colors may differ slightly from reality
  • Typographical errors may occur
  • Inventory discrepancies may occur as our warehouse is managed electronically and shared between the online store and our physical store

Our customer data is stored in accordance with Norwegian law, and will not be shared with/sold to a third party. Ma Colline Boutique AS is responsible for credit card transactions made through this website.
